In addition to wine, our winery produces a variety of distinctive spirits. Our chacha is unique because we perform a double distillation to reach higher grades of alcohol and purity.
Artana Wines produces two types of Chacha. Rkatsiteli Oaked Chacha and Saperavi Chacha.
The chacha labels were specially designed by a Georgian painter Lomero Akhvlediani to give the bottle an original look that conveys the character of the drink.
Traditionally distilled chacha is rapidly gaining popularity and today it is commonly produced by many wineries.
It is for this reason that Anastasia Akhvlediani, the owner of Artana Wines, together with Ana Tsaishvili founded the Natural Chacha Association, with the aim of promoting this drink to a larger global market.

"Maro" is distilled Rkatsiteli ღVINO. Like the Artana chacha, it is distilled twice. This drink has a fantastic aroma and a soft taste. In general, wine distillation produces wine alcohol, which is then aged in barrels and is used to make brandy. The Artana Maro does not go through an ageing process in barrels so that it maintains its original primary taste.
Our "Maro" does not go through the ageing process in barrels not to lose its natural primary taste.
